Position Description : The Compliance Analyst will be responsible for ensuring that our organization meets all Local, State, and Federal regulatory requirements.

This role will be responsible for researching legal requirements, drafting compliance updates, collaborating with various teams to develop policies, and analyzing regulatory changes.

This role also involves monitoring state compliance requirements and managing daily reporting tasks for PEO clients. Coordinates compliance activities with department heads.

Position Responsibilities : 100.00% - Essential Duties / Functions

Research Local, State and, Federal laws to ensure regulatory compliance.

tOversight and implementation of company and client compliance activities.

tCollaborate with legal and operational teams to develop, implement, and update compliance policies and procedures

tConduct in-depth analysis of regulatory changes and communicate the impact on the organization

tCollaborates with management team to ensure the entire company is aware of compliance requirements and issues.

tDraft clear and informative compliance updates to inform clients about changes to Local, State and, Federal laws.

tCreate and Implement Compliance SOPs.

tIdentifies employment law / compliance requirements for company and clients.

tMonitor state tax requirements to ensure we are paying / filing properly.

tManage the PEO reporting process for new clients, including daily tasks related to compliance reporting.

tAddress client inquiries related to compliance matters and ensure that reporting requirements are fulfilled.

tSupport Client HR, Legal and Tax departments compliance needs.

tAdditional job duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities : COMPLIANCE ANALYST - Qualifications :

Paralegal preferred or experienced Legal Assistant

tExperience in PEO (Professional Employer Organization) preferred

tStrong research skills with the ability to interpret legal documents and regulations.

tProficient in using legal research tools and software.

tExcellent written and verbal communication skills.

tDetail-oriented with strong analytical skills.

Skills and Other Requirements :

Paralegal certificate or associate degree in paralegal studies, legal studies, or a related field t2-3 years legal assistant experience

tExperience in PEO (Professional Employer Organization)

tAbility to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

tStrong communication skills (verbal and written).

tStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

tAbility to navigate and understand complex regulatory environments.

tStrong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to compliance challenges.

tMust be able to manage a high volume of tasks, including daily compliance reporting and state regulation monitoring.

tOrganized and able to manage time effectively.

tMust be dependable and able to act with discretion maintaining strict levels of confidentiality.

tGeneral knowledge of Internet navigation and research, email, fax transmissions, phone communication, and copy equipment.

tProficient in Microsoft Office programs including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

tModerate to advanced Excel skills.
