As an Endoscope Repair Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the functionality and reliability of endoscopic equipment used in medical procedures.
This position involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining endoscopes and related devices to meet quality and safety standards.
Your technical expertise will contribute to the seamless operation of medical equipment and the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.
Core Responsibilities :
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with endoscopes and related equipment.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance tasks to ensure optimal functionality.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to identify potential issues.
- Adhere to industry standards and manufacturer specifications in the repair and maintenance of endoscopic equipment.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure repaired equipment meets performance and safety criteria.
- Document parts used, procedures performed, and equipment status for tracking and reporting purposes.
- Manage inventory of repair parts, tools, and equipment necessary for endoscope repairs.
- Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment orders as needed.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines when handling, repairing, and testing endoscopic equipment.
- Report any safety concerns or incidents promptly.
Qualifications :
- Associate degree or certification in biomedical technology, electronics, or a related field
- Proven experience in repairing and maintaining medical equipment, with a focus on endoscopes
- Familiarity with endoscope models from various manufacturers
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and precision
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
- Ability to remain professional and courteous with customers and colleagues
