RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist Program Director and other senior staff with setting and implementing program goals
  • Work closely with PD to understand and practice the contractual obligations for the program
  • Assist PD in preparing reports to funding sources
  • Attend department meetings as required
  • Help organize and plan staff trainings
  • Monitor staff performance, including performing case reviews and structured observations
  • Submit reports to PD monthly, or more frequently as required
  • Submit written reports and analysis that accompany data reporting and presentations
  • Provide quality assurance for case management input and charting in client-based data systems including ETO, CARES, AWARDS, and HMIS
  • Conduct and participate in program audits
  • Report to the Program Director and Department Director any issues with client records, including but not limited to, overdue service plans, contact lapses, poor or missing progress notes, and any staff malfeasance.
  • Work with HRA / DSS to coordinate CARES access and provisioning for staff program

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collect statistical information from CARES, other required databases to write and complete reports
  • Collect information directly from staff and program supervisors necessary to compile required reports
  • Extract data from CARES and other data sources to identify important trends and problems
  • Present data findings in inter-agency and internal meetings
  • Track Program assets in Asset Panda or another database program
  • Monitor staff remote productivity performance on Teramind.
  • Participate in Program Fiscal Meetings.
  • Prepare weekly reports as required
  • Participate in other agency initiatives as assigned.
  • Oversee the implementation of the ETO system for program
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of one years' experience in social services
  • Bilingual both verbal and written preferred.
  • Proficiency in modern business communications including virtual meeting platforms, personal computers, electronic mail, voicemail, facsimile, and copier equipment
  • Experience in program coordination, preferably in a nonprofit setting.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Fiscal management expertise, including budgeting and reporting.
  • Knowledge of public benefits, immigrant services, and the migrant shelter system
  • One year experience preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to use a computer for prolonged periods.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and / or move up to 10 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, or sit for long periods of time.
  • Ability to bend and retrieve objects and / or documents.
  • Ability to travel in the boroughs of New York City and its adjacent counties via public transportation.
  • Ability to travel for a minimum of 1 mile within a reasonable amount of time and in all types of weather, including inclement weather, if required to conduct home visits and / or field work.
