Position Overview

Orchid Island Golf & Beach Club is seeking a massage therapist / esthetician who will perform therapeutic massages and skincare treatments, while providing exceptional service to our member clients.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include the following, but not limited to :

• Provide all members and guests with courteous, prompt and professional attention at all times.
• Performs a range of massage therapy services including Swedish, sports, lymphatic, deep tissue along with skincare treatments.
• Promotes the benefits of massage therapy & skincare treatments to members.
• Conduct pre and / or post treatment consultations.
• Answer all questions related to services performed and products used.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area consistent with the high standards of the Club.
• Maintain massage areas by restocking supplies and sanitizing equipment.
• Consistently maintain up to date knowledge of the personal services performed.
• Schedule member client's next appointments.

Qualifications and Special Requirements :

• State of Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation Massage Therapy license and Esthetician license.
• Previous massage therapy experience.
• First aid, CPR, & AED certification.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements :

• Able to meet and perform the physical requirements and to work effectively in an environment which is typical of this position.
• Frequent lifting, bending, climbing, stooping and pulling.
• Frequent repetitive motions.
• Continuous standing and walking.
• Must be able to tolerate a variety of odors including massage oils and lotions.

This is a 1099 independent contractor position, and individual must provide own liability insurance.
