Senior Corporate Accounting Manager
Responsibilities
Kforce has a client in Tempe, AZ that is looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Corporate Accounting Manager to join their finance team.
Summary : This role will be crucial in managing their corporate accounting functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing strategic financial insights to support the company's growth and profitability. Key Responsibilities :
- Senior Corporate Accounting Manager will oversee the corporate accounting team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
- Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance and operational efficiency
- Coordinate and manage external audits, including preparation of audit schedules and responses to audit inquiries
- Ensure compliance with SOX requirements and maintain robust internal controls
- As a Senior Corporate Accounting Manager, you will analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and provide financial insights
- Mentor and develop the corporate accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA required
- Minimum of 7-10 years of relevant experience, with a strong preference for candidates with Big 4 public accounting background
- Proven experience in the manufacturing industry, with a deep understanding of industry-specific accounting issues
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public accounting, preferably with a Big 4 firm, and experience in the manufacturing sector
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, and SOX compliance
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proven leadership abilities, with experience in managing and developing high-performing teams
- Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role.
We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs.
This range may be modified in the future.

Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
