Our team of highly sedphysical occupational speech and respiratory therapists really careand work together to create an individualized therapy plan thathelps residents reach their highest level of functioning in asshort an amount of time as possible preparing for their eventualreturn home.
- Physical Therapist PT is to ist inplanning organizing developing and implementing Physical Therapyservices in accordance with current applicable federal state andlocal standards guidelines and regulations and as may be directedby the Director of Rehabilitation and / or the Administrator to urethat the highest degree of quality resident care can be maintainedat all times
- Physical Therapist must possessthe ability to plan develop organize evaluate and implement theprograms goals objectives policies and procedures etc.
of thephysical therapy program to help residents obtain / maintain theirhighest level of physical mental and socialwellbeing.
- Physical Therapist will Interpretand / or instruct in physical therapy policies and procedure topersonnel residents family members etc. asnecessary.
- Physical Therapist will participatein discharge planning development and implementation of residentcare plans resident essments (MDS) etc. asnecessary
- Supervise Physical Therapy istants asoutlined by the State Physical Therapy PracticeAct.
- Maintain treatment records resident filesand progress notes as required and maintain an adequate liaisonwith families and residents
Requirements :
- Must possess a current license and registrationto practice as a Physical Therapist PT in the State ofNY.
- Must possess current malpractice insurancelicense in good standing
- Dedicated to providingextraordinary compionate care as a Physical TherapistPT
- Energetic enthusiastic committed &pionate about quality care
- Genuinely interestedin helping ill injured disabled elderly emotionally upset &sometimes challenging residents
- Patience acheerful disposition & willingness to ist any residents &coworkers
- Excellent communication customerservice & organization ss
- Trusted to workindependently & in a team environment
- Ableto work well under pressure flexible & will work harmoniouslywith all staff
