SENIOR QUALITY ASSURANCE / AUTOMATION ENGINEER

The Role

As a Senior Quality Assurance / Automation Engineer on the Trading Engineering team, you’ll get the opportunity to develop your skills and collaborate with engineers across Fidelity in a fun and dynamic environment.

In this role, you will be working with a team of technologists passionate about promoting testing practices, implementing test automation, and executing test suites.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field required.
• 5+ years of Software Quality Engineering experience.
• Hands on experience in developing and maintaining automation test suites using common industry platforms like Selenium, Cypress, Cucumber, Playwright.
• Good understanding of Java,Angular and / or Single Page Application, JavaScript and Typescript.
• Experience in automating front-end and back-end applications.
• Experience with GitHub, Jenkins, JIRA, Confluence, Git and Artifactory.
• Strong analytical and communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks at any given time.
• Experience with Agile, DevOps Methodologies & Continuous Delivery
• Passionate and committed to learning new things and developing with the latest technologies and frameworks.
• Participate in engineering practices such as code and design reviews, environment strategy, and build and deployment pipelines
• Works well in both a small agile team and independently and has a strong user focus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with Xray.
• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms and containerization technologies such as Docker.
