Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.
Calling on Speech-Language Pathologists who want to ensure that school children receive the appropriate level of support to attain their munication skills!Soliant has partnered with a school in near Sunnyvale, TXand is seeking a contract SLP to focus on evaluations for the remainder of the school year.
Caseload details :
- K-12 students with mild to severe needs
- Evaluations only
Additional information about the District, and the building assignment, will be shared in a direct interview with school administrators, following a successful phone screening with Soliant representatives.
Requirements :
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or munications Disorders
- Texas Speech-Language Pathology License
- Familiarity with curriculum and Special Education standards in Texas
As a school-based SLP, you will :
- Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs.
- Participate in ARD(Admissions, Referral, and Dismissal) meeting to determine student eligibility
- Develop individualized education plans and present them to parents, school administrators, and others involved with student evaluations.
- Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns.
