Berks Packing Co., Inc. is a 3rd generation family-owned meat processing facility in Reading, Pennsylvania and employs 170 dedicated associates.
We have a long-standing tradition of providing excellent product quality and customer service. Berks has been a family favorite for over 90 years.
Berks Packing has an immediate need for full time experienced machine operators in Reading, PA. Working conditions are in a refrigerated environment and include setup and operation of machinery, and lifting and pushing up to 100 lbs.
A completed application is required to be considered for this position.
This is a safety sensitive position in which the employee is directly responsible for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.

- Prior experience in a manufacturing plant
- Solid work history
- Demonstrated skills in teamwork and worker safety
- Food industry experience preferred
- GED or HS diploma
- Satisfactory references
- Willingness to work overtime, including weekends as needed
