Landscape Operations Manager

The individual selected for this position should be self motivated, organized and have good communication skills. Candidates must have the ability to adapt to a fast paced environment.

Must have the ability to effectively manage and route crews as required per contracts.

Work related experience or a degree in management, landscape architecture, horticulture, or related field is required.

The individual selected for this position should be able to operate independently and work closely with all landscape personnel, subcontractors, management and clients.

The individual selected for this position should be comfortable working in an office setting 75%; Field work 25% .

Operation Managers will oversee both the landscape project plan and the workers who implement it. The manager will supervise the workers who install and maintain landscaping.

This may involve scheduling work crews, planning daily work activities, and monitoring the work being done.

Job Requirements

• 2-5 years experience managing crews and projects in the landscaping industry.
• Proficient in utilizing Excel including knowledge of formulas, charts and data manipulation for organizing, and analyzing data.
• Knowledge of routing software.
• Field time managing crews 25%; Office time reporting 75%
• Proven leadership and supervisory skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Experience

• Experience managing mid to large-scale municipal landscape maintenance operations; includes proficiency with production, scheduling.
• Proficiency utilizing Excel including knowledge of formulas, tables and data manipulation for organizing, and analyzing data.
• Proven leadership and supervisory abilities; excellent communication skills and organizational abilities.
• Proven experience in customer service and client management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong time management skills
• Strong data analysis
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
