Description Acara Solutions has an 1st shift Machine Operator in Tualatin, OR.This is a welder opportunity and they will train for the welding experience, looking for someone that has any type of background in machine operation or hand tools / power tools, etc.
ShiftMonday-Thursday 6am to 4 : 30pmo Perform basic set-ups and operate machines in more than one assigned area
o Operate complex equipment and machines in a safe manner
o Fit, align and adjust machines or assemblies to meet tolerances and product operating requirements
o Work from schedules, shop orders, established procedures, blueprints, and specifications
o Identify deviations that can potentially interrupt productivity
o Maintain logs and other necessary documents
o Work with direct supervision Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications : Required Skills / Qualifications : o 1-2+ years manufacturing or related work experience
o High School diploma or equivalentPreferred Skills / Qualifications : o Ability to recognize deviation from accepted practices
o Ability to operate a variety of machines
o Basic understanding of related mechanics, flow control elements and MRP concepts
o Visual acuity and manual dexterity
o Good verbal and written communication skills
o Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
