PEDIATRIC SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

Job Overview :

We are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will work with a diverse patient population, focusing on providing comprehensive outpatient pediatric speech therapy services.

Responsibilities :

• Conduct patient assessments to diagnose speech and language.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
• Provide speech therapy services to patients, including interventions for articulation, fluency, voice, and language disorders.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records.
• Participate in meetings and discussions related to patient progress and treatment plans.
• Educate patients and their families on speech therapy techniques and strategies.

Requirements :

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred.
• Proficiency in medical terminology related to speech therapy.
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to speech and swallowing functions.
• Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEP) for school-based settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
