- Shift Details : As needed (PRN) RN Sun- 7 : 00a-3 : 30p / Sat 3 : 00pm -11 : 30p / 11P-7 : 30a.
Job Summary :
- Provides direct patient care to behavioral health patients in accordance with facility policies.
- Performs initial and on-going bio-psychosocial assessments.
- Participates in treatment team conferences to assist in planning and revising goals and interventions.
- Implements nursing plan of care for patients and conducts group therapy sessions.
- Evaluates patient's response to interventions and revises nursing plan of care as needed.
- Develops and documents a comprehensive plan of nursing care in collaboration with the patient and family.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Connecticut Department of Public Health.
- Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross.
- Associate's Degree required, Bachelor Degree preferred.
- Experience in an acute care psychiatric setting preferred.
- Evidence of leadership ability.
