Senior Visual and Video Designer

Candidates should be able to travel to Corporate headquarters in Winston-Salem, North Carolina up to 2 times per month. Local to NC preferred.

PORTFOLIO REQUIRED

Primary Accountabilities :

• Solve complex user-experience challenges through gorgeous, simple, and clear design in the realm of digital design and video pre and post production.
• Demonstrate fluency in executing a wide range of video and digital design initiatives, including print, responsive web, digital presentations, graphics, and social media content and video projects.

Quick and easy adaptation to learn new skills.

• Be a total team player from strategy and vision through execution.
• Present your work effectively, articulately communicating design rationale to stakeholders.
• Actively participate in the give-and-take of an iterative design process.
• Empower fellow creatives by providing resources, feedback and inspiration to help streamline and elevate the work of those around you and be open to the ways they can do the same for you.
• Advocate for user-centered design, experience optimization and product improvement.
• Advanced ideation and concepting skills with a refined creative perspective and approach.
• Push the boundaries visually, disrupt the marketplace in both concept and design and try new ideas whenever possible.
• Focused on supporting and inspiring those around you within the team and Inmar at large. Create visual solutions for a full range of brand and sales and / or product initiatives.
• Create holistically new designs and "flow" based on existing work.

Required Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in design, multi-media or similar field of study.
• 6-8 years of design experience; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to complete the major responsibilities / essential functions of the position.
• Proficient in shooting high-quality video content and editing it to create visually compelling storyscapes.
• Strong UX design principles with rock-solid visual design skills.
• Mastery of design tools such as Premier, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Figma (AI exploration and understanding a huge plus).
• Knowledge of animation / editing principles.
• Knowledge of photography and videography in the production phase is a HUGE plus.
• Willingness to work on a full range of projects.
• Awesome spoken and written communication skills.
• Ability to work on an ego-free, highly collaborative and cross-functional team.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic corporate environment.
• Strong sense of humor and willing smile are also BIG pluses.
