Write the next chapter of your ABB story.This position reports toProduct Marketing DirectorYour role and responsibilitiesABB is seeking a Product Marketing Manager for its Distribution Solutions Gas Insulated Switchgear portfolio including primary GIS and ring main units (RMU) for the US market.

The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing the portfolio strategy across all market segments, channels, and specific target accounts.

In this role, the PMM will coordinate all marketing activities across LPGs according to the global strategy for GIS and RMU.

This position can be hybrid or remote, however successful candidates should be located in a major metro area in central or eastern US time zone.

This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions division in the United States.You will be mainly accountable for :

  • Creating, planning, and ensuring implementation of the local go-to-market product marketing strategy, including defining and communicating product value propositions and product positioning in accordance with the global product marketing strategy.
  • Focusing on achievement of the target set for metrics like total demand orders (by ABB and third-party), growth margin percentage, net price variance, Net Promoter Score (NPS), inventory turn on finished goods, and on-time delivery as requested.
  • Evaluating market opportunities, determining appropriate activities aligned with the overall strategy, and coordinating opportunities across local divisions and local business units, as appropriate.
  • Ensuring balanced growth for all product lines, product groups, and business units and creating product demand by promoting technical aspects, providing solutions, and utilizing value-based selling approach.

Qualifications for the roleBachelor’s degree required, preferably in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, MBA preferred8+ years of experience in technical marketing and / or salesThorough knowledge of electrical industryCompetent in technical understanding, business management, and financial terminologyDemonstrated history of cross-organizational and cross-cultural collaboration and communicationExperience with engaging senior management organizations both internally and externally Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
