VCI is seeking an Analyst (Jr) for the Office of Human Resources Management (HRM), U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).

Administrative Support Services are needed to supplement HR staff at the CBP Hiring Center, the CBP Processing and Servicing Center, and the other Talent Management Directorate (TMD) Divisions.

Duties :

The administrative support and project lead positions are located in an office setting and are primarily sedentary in nature.

The following are very brief descriptions of tasks covered under this scope of work. The task items listed below are typical but not intended to be all-inclusive.

Analyst - National Recruitment Division

Contract personnel assigned to the Jr. Analyst Services function shall perform the following office operations, including but not limited to :

  • Maintain and organize event schedule;
  • Support in the planning, coordination, implementation, and reporting of virtual recruitment events;
  • Track individual creatives through the approval process;
  • Schedule meetings with key stakeholders;
  • Provide secondary visual and grammatical review;
  • Assist with data collection, formulation, and submission of minority, diversity, EEO and other workforce reporting mandates;
  • Report on active campaigns;
  • Facilitate recruiting and applicant care event scheduling;
  • Provide recruiting event chat support;
  • PowerPoint development and support;
  • Research outreach opportunities for Frontline positions;
  • Support internal and external communications plan;
  • Develop and assist with briefing materials;
  • Resume review support;
  • Support and research on outreach opportunities;
  • Tasker Support to include research and response development;
  • Support and assist the Veterans Employment Program;
  • Webinar Support;

Data Analytics - National Recruitment Data Analytics

Function shall perform the following day-to-day office operations, including but not limited to :

  • Manage master data, including creation, updates, and deletion;
  • Manage users and user roles;
  • Process confidential data and information according to guidelines;
  • Help develop reports and provide analysis;
  • Manage and design the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata;
  • Support initiatives for data integrity and normalization;
  • Generate scheduled and ad hoc reports from single or multiple systems;
  • Troubleshoot the reporting database environment and reports;
  • Evaluate changes and updates to source production systems;
  • Train end-users on new reports and dashboards;
  • Use statistical methods to conduct data correlation analysis and trend analysis for the development of forecasting models;

Technical Skills :

  • Advanced knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office products;
  • Effective communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to prepare and make group / executive presentations;
  • Resourcefulness, initiative and skill to function in a fast-paced environment;
  • Attention to detail in goal / task accomplishment with minimal supervision;
  • Professionalism and the ability to interact effectively with others;
  • Ability to meet planned and unscheduled deadlines in a timely manner;
  • All personnel shall be able to work independently.

Qualifications :

  • Associates degree or higher in related field;
  • 3+ years of relevant experience;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe;
  • US citizenship and English fluency;
  • Meet DHS Suitability Adjudication and Obtain Clearance. Must sustain said clearance throughout term.
