Job Summary :

Controller will be responsible for overseeing aspects of financial and accounting activities for the company. Responsibilities include managing day-to-day accounting and finance requirements, along with aspects of billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budget management, financial analysis, billing, forecasting, and financial reporting.

This position will also work on any other initiative and ongoing projects as assigned in addition to any other duties the Company may assign.

Duties / Responsibilities :

• Assist with providing comprehensive financial updates to senior management by evaluating, analyzing, and reporting appropriate data points
• Participate in monthly customer billing and processing customer payments into banking deposits
• Assist with developing, implementing, and maintaining financial controls and guidelines
• Perform numerous reconciliation activities, including bank account, credit card, and other statements and schedules
• Aiding with achieving budgeting goals with proper scheduling, analysis, and corrective action
• Help support short and long-term operational strategies of the department and company
• Assist with managing and monitoring all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP accounting and revenue standards
• Aiding with maintaining internal control safeguards for the receipt of revenue, costs and both team and organizational budgets and actual expenditures
• Assist Corporate Controller and SVP, Finance implement consistent accounting policies, practices, and procedures across all programs, upholding federal, state, and local legal standards by remaining knowledgeable about existing, new, and future legislation

Required Skills / Abilities :

• Strong budgeting, financial forecasting and financial analysis skills required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and QuickBooks
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Impeccable analytical and organizational skills

• Ability to work closely with peers, senior management, and executive team
• Management and Leadership skills

Education and Experience :

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years accounting experience in a senior accounting or financial management role
