VP of Sales & Customer Development 3PL Fulfillment
Mission Statement :
Join us on our ambitious journey to redefine the logistics landscape and drive our B2B 3PL fulfillment solutions in revenue growth from $5 million to $45 million within 18 months.
We are seeking a dynamic Senior Business Development person to lead our 3PL services division to new clients and markets, sell multiple service offerings, and develop lasting relationships that will propel us toward our goals and beyond.
Key Responsibilities :
- Strategic Business Growth : Spearhead the development and execution of comprehensive sales strategies that secure our position as a leader in the 3PL industry, ensuring alignment with our ambitious growth targets.
- Market Expansion and Client Acquisition : Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities in untapped markets, utilizing deep industry insights, contacts, and exceptional sales acumen to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Client Relationship Management : Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty, and driving repeat business and referrals.
- Collaboration and Leadership : Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless delivery of tailored logistics solutions, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and teamwork.
- Performance Analysis : Regularly analyze sales performance data to refine strategies, report on progress toward goals, and make data-driven decisions to drive continuous improvement.
Ideal Candidate Profile :
- Experience : At least 5 years of successful business development or sales experience in the logistics or supply chain management industry, with a proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Skills : Exceptional strategic thinking, market analysis, sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills. Strong leadership, communication, and project management abilities.
- Competencies : Strategic thinking, tactical execution, market insight, sales expertise, and customer focus. Fluent in the Microsoft business suite and CRM solutions.
- Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain / Logistics, or a related field. An MBA or related master’s degree is preferred but not required.
