Position Summary
As a Parking Services Attendant, you will be responsible for directing traffic and maintaining a clean and safe environment for all guests and employees within parking areas.
This position offers between 4-11 hours of work per scheduled event. Events are typically held on evenings and weekends with the occasional day event.
This role will pay an hourly wage of $15.

About the Venue
At Oak View Group, the Parking & Mobility services is the industry leader in optimizing operations, improving guest experience and driving revenue for venue and mixed-use parking operations.
The Parking & Mobility Assistant will be assigned to Liberty Park, an entertainment complex located in Memphis, Tennessee which includes Simmons Bank Liberty Staduim and Memphis Sports + Events Center.
The facility hosts numerous sporting events and live performances. It is home to the Univeristy of Memphis Tigers Football, AutoZone Liberty Bowl Football game, Memphis Showboats of the UFL.
Responsibilities
- Greeting guests upon entry to the venue
- Scanning prepaid parking passes
- Notifying guest of the current fee for parking
- Collecting parking fees and handling the return of any chance when necessary
- Directing guest as to where they should proceed in order to park in the appropriate area
- Informing guests of current policies and procedures regarding tailgating, items allowed within the venue, and exits
- Directing the flow of traffic entering, exiting, and within the venue parking areas
- Providing a safe and clean environment by notifying the proper personnel to handle various situations
- Removing traffic cones and signage after parking areas have cleared
Qualifications
- Maintain understanding of venue layout, particularly the parking areas and exits
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to stand throughout the duration of a scheduled shift (minimum 4 hours)
- Ability to bend or twist at the waist to reach and move items at ground level (typically traffic cones or parking signs)
- Must be capable of working outside in a variety of environmental conditions (heat, cold, humidity, high wind, snow, or rain)
- Be available to work scheduled events as needed (includes nights and weekends)
