Salary Range : $75-80k / year.
We are helping a client search for a Complex Controller. The Complex Controller will be responsible for developing business process improvement strategies to optimize profits, reduce costs and improve profitability margins.
Will serve as an active member of the Executive Team at each hotel.
Essential Functions :
Oversees financial operations of multiple hotel properties
Develops strategies to improve profitability, efficiency and compliance
Prepares and reviews financial statements, monitors and reduces costs, implements new purchasing opportunities
Manages payroll and taxes, ensures compliance with contracts and regulations
Supervises staff accountants, coordinates credit meetings, processes disbursements
Prepares forecasts and budgets, supports operational departments, assists in onboarding new hotels
Establishes and maintains accounting policies and procedures
Travels to the complex hotels regularly
Qualifications
The Company may consider an equivalent combination of acceptable education and experience providing the knowledge, skills and abilities cited below.
Bachelors' Degree in Accounting or Finance required, with a minimum of ten (10) years of prior accounting experience.
Must have hotel operations knowledge, previous experience in a centralized environment, handling multiple properties, is preferred.
