Facility :

This healthcare facility is part of a comprehensive health system that includes almost 1,000 physicians and advanced practice clinicians with all medical and surgical specialties represented. The facility features a combined 500-bed tertiary care hospital complex with EPIC electronic medical records in both clinic and hospital settings.

Opportunity : BC / BE - Nephrology

Join a team of 5 Nephrologists providing comprehensive nephrology services to a regional service area of 460,000 people.

Job Details :

• Full scope of Nephrology practice including clinical nephrology, hypertension, and post-transplant care
• Hospital practice includes ICU and acute dialysis services, apheresis, home hemodialysis, plasmapheresis, continuous renal replacement, CAPD, and CCPD
• Dialysis population of approximately 300 patients with 4 Twin Ports locations and 5 satellite locations
• Call schedule is 1 : 6 with casual staff used to cover call as needed
• Medical directorships are associated with out-patient dialysis units in multiple communities including Duluth, Hermantown, Virginia, Grand Rapids, Hibbing, Cloquet, MN and Superior, Ashland, and Hayward, WI
• Nephrology is a consultative service with hospitalists as the admitting service
• Team members include RNs, Clinical Nurse Specialists, and Nurse Practitioners
• Outreach consultative services at 3 Twin Ports clinics and 6 regional clinic locations

Compensation :

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
