JobBrief :
We are seeking anIndustrial Painter to join our team. The role involves preparingpainting and finishing materials and piping according to jobspecifications.
The ideal candidate will have experience in surfacepreparation spraying primer and topcoat and adhering to safetyprotocols while being flexible with overtime and adaptable to afastpacedenvironment.
Responsibilities :
Prepareraw materials and piping through sanding or sandblasting followingjob specifications.
Apply primer and topcoat tounits and piping using spray techniques ensuring quality andaccuracy.
Prepare materials for painting withcaulking masking paper plastic and other necessarypreparations.
Maintain clean and functional paintpots to produce highquality results.
Clean thework area postpainting to ensure a safe and organizedenvironment.
Adhere to all safety protocolsincluding the proper use of hand tools and safetydevices.
Support 5S procedures and ensure allsafety policies are followed.
Work overtime andweekends as required with flexibility to arrive early or stay lateas needed.
Operate industrialgrade pressure paintpots sprayers and a variety of hand tools.
Workcomfortably at heights standing for long periods (10 hours / day)with frequent stooping and kneeling.
Lift andmaneuver up to 75 lbs. unassisted using proper safetytechniques.
SkillsRequired :
Proven experience inindustrial painting including surface preparation and spraypainting techniques.
Familiarity with hand tools(both powered and manual) and industrial paintingequipment.
Ability to stand for extended periodsand perform physical tasks like lifting stooping andkneeling.
Sufficient visual acuity and depthperception to perform detailed paintingtasks.
Comfortable working in a shop environmentwith exposure to confined spaces and industrialmanufacturing.
Strong commitment to safetyprotocols and the ability to apply appropriate safetyequipment.
Flexibility to work overtime andweekends as needed.
