We offer comprehensive solutions to clients in both the public and private sectors. We are seeking a seasoned former prosecutor to join our executive team as the Director of Executive Operations and Compliance.

In this role, you will oversee the management of key departments, lead MOSAIC Law, support MOSAIC's affiliated companies, and drive both business and operational growth.

Position Summary :

The Director of Executive Operations and Compliance will serve as the CEO’s right hand in decision-making, overseeing the management of departments across the company.

The role involves driving business objectives, expanding operations, ensuring compliance, and managing the budget. The ideal candidate will lead MOSAIC Law, support MOSAIC Intelligence and affiliated companies, and ensure all departments function efficiently, adhering to the company's strategic goals.

This individual must be flexible, available to work outside of regular business hours and travel when necessary.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Department Management : Oversee daily operations of key departments, ensuring alignment with business goals and operational efficiency.
  • Business Development : Identify new opportunities and implement strategic initiatives to achieve operational and financial targets.
  • Decision-Making Support : Serve as the CEO’s key advisor, driving decisions that impact the entire company.
  • Leadership of MOSAIC Law : Manage operations, client relations, compliance, and strategic initiatives to drive growth.
  • Support for Affiliated Companies : Align operational and legal strategies with MOSAIC's affiliates.
  • Compliance Oversight : Ensure all operations comply with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Operational Leadership : Foster productivity and scalability through efficient processes.
  • Strategic Planning : Implement long-term strategies for business development and compliance.
  • Performance Monitoring : Set and track KPIs, ensuring business goals are met.
  • Crisis & Risk Management : Lead responses to operational, legal, or compliance crises.
  • Stakeholder Liaison : Communicate effectively between the CEO, senior management, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Financial Oversight : Ensure financial sustainability through planning, budgeting, and cash flow management.
  • Sales Strategy Development : Achieve revenue targets and identify new market opportunities.
  • Cultural Leadership : Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and success.

Qualifications :

  • Experience : 5-10 years as a prosecutor; significant experience managing legal and operational teams, business development, and compliance oversight.
  • Education : Juris Doctor (JD) required; membership in the New York State Bar and Washington, DC required; additional state memberships are a bonus.
  • Business Degree / MBA : An asset.
  • Compliance & Legal Expertise : Deep understanding of legal frameworks and compliance requirements.
  • Leadership Skills : Proven track record in managing departments and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Financial Management Expertise : Strong skills in strategic planning and financial oversight.
  • Business Acumen : Ability to drive business development and operational improvements.
  • Security Acumen : Knowledge of security threats and mitigation strategies; experience in assessing and managing security risks is an asset.
  • Communication Skills : Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage at senior executive levels.
  • Ethics & Integrity : High ethical standards and professional discretion.
  • Flexibility : Willingness to work outside regular hours and travel as necessary.
  • Trade Compliance : Familiarity with ITAR is an asset.
  • Private Security Knowledge : Experience or knowledge in the private security sector is an asset.
  • Negotiation Skills : Demonstrated ability as a negotiator and facilitator.
