The firms Consumer business, Marcus by Goldman Sachs, combines the entrepreneurial spirit of a startup with more than 150 years of experience.
Today, we serve millions of customers across multiple products including lending, deposits, financial tools, and our partnership with Apple on Apple Card.
We use innovative design, data, engineering and other core capabilities to provide customers with powerful tools and products that are grounded in value, transparency and simplicity.
As we build a leading digital consumer bank and expand into new products and partnerships, we are looking for leaders and individual contributors to join our team.

Our team is responsible for developing and building the new consumer investment platform to enable the division to extend its investment capabilities to a wide range of customers in an automated and scalable way.
We design and build tools that are transforming the financial services experience, focused on building universally accessible investment solutions that are simple and transparent and extending our services to new client segments.
We are a product driven team, composed of talented and passionate product managers, designers, and engineers working to change the landscape of investment management.
Your Impact
We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our team. In this role, you will engage with key stakeholders across business, engineering, design, marketing and analytics teams to develop, prioritize and build the product roadmap for Marcus Invest, the retail investing platform from Marcus by Goldman Sachs.
You will help drive strategy, development and enhancements across the digital products offered by Consumer and Wealth Management Division.

Responsibilities
- Drive the agile product development process and prioritize product backlog to deliver new products and features for Marcus Invest using data, user research and a test and learn approach to inform product strategy and to ensure a best in class customer experience
- Be a subject matter expert in personal finance and wealth management - attuned to industry and technology trends to help create opportunities for Marcus Invest to solve customer problems and better serve clients
- Solicit stakeholder input and coordinate amongst multiple groups to inform requirements, including Business, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Operations and Engineering
- Collaborate with other product managers across business lines (Deposits, Lending, Credit), designers and engineers to ensure cohesiveness of the overall, cross-product Marcus customer experience
- Be a mentor to junior product managers - provide support and help develop their skills in product management
Skills and experience we are looking for
- 6+ years of product management experience, delivering high quality products that solve business and user needs in a fast-paced and agile work environment
- Demonstrate a high degree of personal accountability, leadership, going above and beyond to ensure that products are delivered on time with a high degree of quality
- Experience in gathering user feedback and insights (directly or indirectly) through surveys, focus groups and interviews to empathize with users and turn insights into meaningful product enhancements
- Proficient in major design, development and project management applications (i.e., Sketch, Figma, Confluence, Jira, etc.)
- Excellent communication / presentation skills with aptitude for logically breaking down complex problems and processes and communicating solutions with clarity
- Experience in working with diverse / cross-functional teams and experience in managing and communicating up and down the organization
Preferred Skills
Experience with financial consumer products / services, especially wealth management and investment products
