Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, development, delivery and assessment of Career Center engagement strategy and communication content
- Operational optimization to ensure seamless delivery of all Career Center events and programs
- Communications and outreach plan implementation, including accurate and timely publications of event and programming assets, newsletters, reports, and outcomes across all types of media - print, digital, and in-person
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Demonstrated excellence in written communication
- Strong skill in effective communication with stakeholders to drive involvement, including identifying needs, responding efficiently and effectively, and interacting with diplomacy
- Skill in developing and publishing web content
- Skill in embedding elements such as images, videos, tables, and data feeds into web pages
- Skill in organizing websites for optimal navigation and in search-engine optimization
- Skill in video editing using various tools such as Camtasia, Adobe Premier Pro, Adobe Rush, or similar
- Skill in basic graphic design editing with Adobe Illustrator and / or InDesign, or similar
- Skill in generating, writing, and publishing e-news content
- Basic skill in database navigation
- Ability to take initiative and independently plan, prioritize and complete multiple tasks and projects with diverse stakeholders in a fast-paced setting
- Skill in the research, development and evaluation of instruction and engagement content
- Possess strong attention to detail
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities with a solution focus
- Ability to collaborate with and support a diverse team and organization
- Ability to share and receive regular feedback and apply that feedback to continuous improvement of services and programs
- Basic knowledge of technical troubleshooting and support tiers
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree and / or equivalent training
- Two (2) years of administrative work experience involving study, analysis, and / or evaluation leading to the development or improvement of administrative policies, procedures, practices, or programs
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s and / or Master’s degree
- Two (2) years of experience related to project management and / or communications and marketing
Compensation
Classification : Administrative Analyst / Specialist Exempt I
Anticipated Hiring Range : $5,600 / month - $5,853 / month
CSU Salary Range : $4,379 / month - $7,922 / month
