As an Insurance Product leader, you are a data-driven growth practitioner that can think outside the box, execute fast, and deeply understand customer needs.
The ideal candidate has experience owning aggressive growth targets, synthesizing data (both qualitative and quantitative) into insights, optimizing engagement channels, and building Insurance SaaS products that impress clients and users.
You will be responsible for assessing the competitive landscape, defining market requirements, product enhancements and packaging the features into product releases.
You will be maintaining close interaction with technical product owners, development leads, product architects, and key customers.
You will engage with stakeholders and lead product team efforts for gathering feature-level requirements from existing and potential customers while managing product backlogs.
This role will also be responsible for prioritizing and managing activities to support running the business line.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and build cutting edge digital Insurance products and programs that improve conversion and customer retention.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, marketing, compliance, operations, account management and customer support, to define and deliver high-quality B2C and B2B2C SaaS products.
- Scope and implement best practice analytics for insurance products, gather and interpret qualitative and quantitative data to inform decisions.
- Gather and analyze customer feedback, market research, and competitive intelligence to identify opportunities and prioritize product enhancements.
- Optimize the customer journey by evaluating and improving end user touchpoints.
- Plan and execute go to market (GTM) strategies for new and enhanced insurance products.
- Define user personas for individual insurance products.
- Develop Epic & Feature Sets and coordinate with technical product owners to break down the project into product requirements and use case scenarios.
- Review customer escalations and prioritize corrective action in conjunction with release scheduling via the release train team members.
- Develop and maintain the product portfolio roadmap.
- Monitor and incorporate Insurtech industry innovations.
- Forecasting responsibilities for the existing business lines.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Minimum 5 Years of SaaS Product management experience required.
- Product experience with insurance, financial services products, or transactional consumer-based products (B2C or B2B2C) is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience identifying and evangelizing game-changing product innovations that support and improve the company's strategic and competitive position.
- Experience in managing matrixed teams through the application of industry-accepted Software Development Life Cycle (i.
e., Agile and iterative processes).
- Experience managing product requirements and translating them into compelling products and capabilities.
- Excel in guiding products from strategy to delivery.
- Deep understanding of UX design principles and a proven ability to implement product experimentation, including A / B testing and user testing.
- Transform data into actionable growth strategies to guide product decisions.
- Adept at leveraging analytical tools like SQL, Power BI and Excel to evaluate product usage, conversion rates and overall performance.
