Position Summary...

What you'll do...

Join our team to design, develop, and maintain cutting-edge software for anomaly detection and prevention data pipelines using Kafka, Cassandra, Spark, and Java.

You'll streamline and scale streaming and batch jobs, automate deployments, and ensure robust anomaly detection platform.

About Team :

On the Item and Inventory team, we ensure our customers get their orders when and where they want them, in a frictionless, predictable manner.

What's more, we create reusable SaaS products and services that manage our catalog and power end-to-end inventory management, including replenishment, fulfillment, and transportation.

With end-to-end inventory management, from replenishment and fulfillment to transportation, we give our drivers and partners the tools they need to get the right items to customers on time and in the right packaging.

What you'll do :

• Develop and Maintain Data Pipelines : Design, develop, and maintain software for personalization and recommendation data pipelines using Kafka, Cassandra, Spark, and Java.
• Streamline and Scale Jobs : Develop complex software features to streamline and scale streaming and batch jobs for rule-based models.
• Data Handling and Anomaly Detection : Build Java components to load large volumes of data into NoSQL databases and find anomalies.
• Infrastructure Management : Set up management, monitoring, and alerting systems to oversee infrastructure running software for anomaly detection projects.
• Automation and Debugging : Automate production software deployments in Jenkins and OneOps, and debug data and detection issues to ensure data quality and system reliability.

What you'll bring :

• Proficiency in Java and NoSQL Databases : Strong experience in Java programming and handling large volumes of data in NoSQL databases like Cassandra.
• Experience with Data Pipelines and Streaming Technologies : Expertise in building and maintaining data pipelines using Kafka and Spark.
• Automation and Deployment Skills : Proficient in automating software deployments and monitoring using tools like Jenkins and OneOps.
• Problem-Solving and Debugging : Strong ability to debug data issues and enhance detection models, ensuring data integrity and reliability.
• Collaboration and Communication : Excellent teamwork and communication skills to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00-$286,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1 : Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 4 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.

Option 2 : 6 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.

Preferred Qualifications...

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 2 years' experience in software engineering or related area, We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.

2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
