Job Duties

The Field Supervisor is crucial in stabilizing field operations by providing leadership to the field crew, ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and a positive work environment.

This position is a primary point of communication between the field team and upper management. The Field Supervisor can lead all jobs while upholding quality standards and will coach and train field personnel based on business needs.

• Ensures moves are completed in an accurate and timely manner
• Provide technical and leadership training to the Field Crew
• This includes customer interactions, truck loading, safety rules and techniques, furniture assembly & disassembly, packing and unpacking, and moving unique and high-value items.
• Ensure PDX Movers' standards and quality are met on every job
• This includes paperwork, CRM tracking, payment collection, on-the-job problem-solving, and other operational duties.
• Identify high and low performers and provide up-to-date performance reports for the team
• Maintain professionalism, quality of service, and on-site communication that are on par with our brand and image

Required Skills

• Attention to detail (includes paperwork, DOT, and FMCSA regulations)
• Understanding of Safety and OSHA Compliance

Job Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift upwards of 100 lbs
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Able to drive up to a 26-foot box truck. NO CDL REQUIRED.
• Able to pass and obtain an MDOT Certification
