We are currently seeking a professional Safety Associate to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional retail experiences.
Job Summary :
As an Safety Associate at Retail Rebel, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment, preventing theft, and ensuring the safety of our customers and employees.
You will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing them with a sense of security and assistance when needed.
Key Responsibilities :
- Monitor and patrol the retail premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure the safety of the premises.
- Provide a visible presence to deter theft and maintain a safe and secure environment.
- Respond to alarms and respond to disturbances promptly and efficiently.
- Manage crowd control and maintain orderly conduct among customers, especially during peak shopping hours or special events.
- Report incidents, accidents, or security breaches to management, ensuring detailed documentation is completed.
- Assist customers and employees in emergency situations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to security and safety.
- Available to work rotating shifts and locations.

Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a security role, preferably in a retail environment, is highly desirable.
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to stand and patrol for extended periods.
- Availability to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Must have access to reliable transportation.

Compensation :
$16.00 - $20.00 per hour based on experience
