Key Responsibilities :
- Sales Leadership : Grow sales and market share by working closely with dealers, agents, and end-users. Ensure a smooth sales process from concept to completion, resolving any channel conflicts proactively.
- Market & Product Expertise : Stay knowledgeable on our products and processes, competitor offerings, industry trends, and funding sources for school districts.
Provide feedback on product quality and development.
Dealer & Rep Relationships : Identify, select, and onboard qualified Dealers, Agents, and Manufacturer’s Reps in each market sector.
Train them on Palmer Hamilton’s product line, updates, and new launches to maintain competence and confidence.
Sales Support & Trade Shows : Collaborate with Dealers / Agents on selecting and supporting trade shows in your territory.
Attend national events such as SNA, AIA, ALA, and EdSpaces, providing critical follow-up to the most engaged dealers.
- Contract & End-User Engagement : Educate Dealers / Agents on how to leverage national, state, and county contracts, and work directly with end-users and architects to close sales and ensure our products are specified in projects.
- Warranty & Installation Support : Provide hands-on support for warranty issues and product installation, ensuring successful project completion and customer satisfaction.
- Team Collaboration : Attend conference calls, in-person meetings, and manage expenses in alignment with company policies.
What We’re Looking For :
- Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the education market, furniture industry, or a related field.
- Strong ability to build and nurture relationships with dealers, agents, end-users, and architects.
- A proactive and strategic mindset, with a passion for solving challenges and growing market share.
- Familiarity with trade shows, contract negotiation, and sales within the education sector.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to educate and inspire your network.
- Willingness to travel within your assigned territory and attend national events.
