Complex Director of Engineering - Caribe Royale Hotel
Location : Caribe Royale, Orlando, FL
Title : Complex Director of Engineering Department : Engineering Location : Orlando, FL At the Caribe Royale, we are extremely excited about the expansion of the Grand Caribe Convention Center, the complete renovation of all 1,335 suites and villas, and a new lobby creating a new arrival experience.

Job Responsibilities :
- Create and adhere to yearly department budget
- Evaluate and develop training programs as needed to ensure proper maintenance of the facility
- Manage the department to ensure that every shift has the appropriate staff to respond to maintenance requests
- Maintain the preventative maintenance programs to ensure proper maintenance of the hotel and equipment
- Coordinate with other departments regarding the scheduling of engineering projects that may affect them
- Schedule work assignments and inspection of work performed by associates and contractors
- Must be Hands-On and have the ability to fix all equipment and machinery related to plumbing, laundry, HVAC, and electrical

Education and Experience :
- Previous experience as a Director of Engineering for at least 7+ years
- Previous hotel experience is required
- Previous experience in a large convention hotel preferred
- Two years of college or vocational training in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent experience
- Three years of experience in heating / air conditioning& refrigeration and an E.P.A. certification to work on all types of refrigeration equipment
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, blueprint reading, and computer operations
