Senior MuleSoft Application Developer - 59033
We have an immediate long-term opportunity with one of our prime clients for a position of Senior MuleSoft Application Developer to work in San Francisco, CA OR Salt Lake City, UT on Hybrid basis.
Pay Rate : $80 / hr W2
In this order of priority, candidates need to have experience with a focus on and familiarity with :
- MuleSoft
- AWS API Gateways (or any major cloud API Gateways)
- API Security (oauth, oidc, mTLS)
Top Qualifications :
- Focus is on familiarity with MuleSoft, AWS API Gateways, and API Security (oauth, oidc, mTLS).
- Working knowledge of SailPoint IIQ, IBM Tivoli Identity Manager, Oracle Identity Manager, or other Identity Management suites.
Position Summary
Job Description :
We are seeking an experienced Identity Management Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and securing APIs, with expertise in MuleSoft, AWS API Gateways, and API security protocols such as OAuth, OIDC, and mTLS.
Key Responsibilities :
- Integration Management : Utilize MuleSoft to connect various applications, data, and devices, ensuring seamless integration with identity providers and enforcing security policies.
- API Management : Manage and secure APIs using AWS API Gateways, integrating with AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) and other identity providers to manage user identities and permissions.
- Security Implementation : Implement and manage API security protocols, including OAuth for token-based authentication and authorization, OIDC for verifying user identities, and mTLS for mutual authentication between clients and servers.
- Policy Enforcement : Develop and enforce security policies to ensure secure and authenticated access to APIs and services.
- Collaboration : Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure identity management solutions are effectively integrated and maintained.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience with MuleSoft and AWS API Gateways.
- Strong understanding of API security protocols, including OAuth, OIDC, and mTLS.
- Experience with identity management and access control.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Certification in MuleSoft or AWS.
- Experience with other identity management solutions and tools.
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices.
