Children's Minnesota is a nationally ranked non-profit, acute care children's hospital system located in St. Paul and Minneapolis , Minnesota . The hospital has 384 pediatric beds between their campuses. [1] Children's Minnesota provides comprehensive pediatric specialties and subspecialties to infants, children, teens, and young adults aged 0-21 [2] [3] throughout Minnesota and surrounding regions and sometimes also treats adults that require pediatric care. [4] Children's Minnesota Minneapolis features an American College of Surgeons verified Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center , 1 of 4 in the state. [5] In addition to its two hospitals, Children's Minnesota has 12 primary and specialty care clinics, and six rehabilitation sites representing more than 60 pediatric specialties.

The Position
Pediatric CRNA Perm Need
Will consider pending MN license
Will train for pediatric if provider has adult experience and be comfortable with babies and children
How many hours per week : Full-time need
Shifts : 8- and 10-hour shifts
Will you consider New Graduates : Yes. prefers experience, but will consider new grads
Will have physician oversite but may occasionally be 1 : 1 with some being high acuity cases
Current providers : 1 Anes doctor and 2 CRNAs
24 / 7 hospital coverage and open to day, nights and weekends
Types of Cases : Wide variety including cardiac, neuro, level 1 trauma and neonatal (high acuity environment), code blue response and difficult intubation response throughout the Minneapolis campus. We do wide variety of surgical cases : ENT, general, ortho, dental, urology, radiology, Neuro, plastics, cardiac including open hearts, transplant, Cath lab and cardiac imaging. We do not do burns or solid organ transplants besides hearts.
Level of Supervision : 1 Anesthesiologist to 2 CRNAs, with our acuity we occasionally have high acuity cases in which we work 1 : 1 (open hearts).
Must CRNA do their own Regionals? no
EMR system : Cerner currently, but going through Epic implementation that will be a process over next 2 years
Credentialing : up to 90 days. Able to work on privs while provider licensing if needed
Compensation and benefits
Salary Range : Step 1 : $110.00 / hr
OT / Call Paid Rate : Rate : $42 / hr for picking up additional shifts once greater than 80 hrs a pay period (whole hour increments)
Beeper call : $24 / hr. Receive a minimum of 4hrs of work if needed to report
Shift Differentials
Sign-on Bonus : $30k 2 year commitment Relocation : up to $7,500
