Travel Nurse (RN) ICU (Intensive Care Unit)
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - ICU / Charge D3A
Shift : Nights / 7p-7a (12x3) 36 hours per week, EOW, Vacation support, no on call
Length : 13 / 26 weeks
Requirements : NC License
NC License
2 Years’ Experience
Medical ICU experience in large facility, comfortable with hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management
Advanced skills needed : ventilator management, critical care pharmacology (IV sedation, paralytics, vasopressors, etc), advanced hemodynamic monitoring, central line management
Charge experience required
ACLS
Other Details : Documentation system : Cerner
Number of Beds : 10 ICU / PCU Overflow
Patient Ratios : 2 : 1 ICU, 4-5 : 1 PCU
Travelers will be required to float
Type of equipment : Lift equipment, Targeted Temperature Management (TTM), ventilators, IV pumps, etc.
ICU / PCU Overflow - Will also work on PCU & Med / Surg - Tele patients as this is an overflow unit
Please be prepared to work with higher ratios of 1 : 6-1 : 7 if operations requires it
