About The Position
Job Title : Physical Therapy Assistant Job Specialty : Rehabilitation Therapy - Physical Therapy Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Monday to Friday, Day Shift Guaranteed Hours : 32 hours per week Experience : New graduates are welcome;
experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) preferred License : State license verification required Certifications : CPR certification required Must-Have : Negative drug screen results- COVID-19 test 72 hours prior to start date with results 48 hours before start date- Three references- 1 Step PPD or Quantiferon or proof of positive PPD and chest X-ray- Clear background checks : County, Federal, Multi-State Criminal, Nationwide Sex Offender, HHS / OIG, GSA, SAM, and Social Security Number Trace Job Description : Assist physical therapists in providing therapy services- Conduct physical therapy treatments to improve patient mobility and alleviate pain- Monitor patient progress and report findings to the physical therapist- Maintain a safe and clean work environment- Document patient care services- Foster a supportive and motivational atmosphere for patient rehabilitationThis role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a dedication to enhancing patient wellness and recovery.
