Responsibilities :
- Assist in providing field oversight for all phases of assigned construction projects.
- Support the development and management of project schedules to ensure timely completion.
- Aid in managing subcontractor performance and maintaining strong working relationships.
- Help ensure the quality and timeliness of assigned projects.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining project documentation for coordination and site management.
- Contribute to the implementation and execution of Quality Control / Quality Assurance programs.
- Promote a safe work environment through safety initiatives and adherence to the company's safety program.
Qualifications :
- 2+ years of experience as an Assistant Superintendent or related role within multifamily construction.
- Proven record of assisting in the successful completion of large and / or complex projects.
- Experience supporting and mentoring a team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software such as Procore, Timberline, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project.
Additional Responsibilities :
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve any project issues.
- Monitor project budgets and assist in controlling costs.
- Ensure that all work is completed in accordance with local building codes and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience with multifamily affordable housing construction projects is a plus.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
