Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our financial department and assist with various accounting and bookkeeping tasks.

Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and answering phone calls.
- Assist with accounts receivable and payable by processing invoices and payments.
- Manage and maintain accurate records using Sage accounting software.
- Prepare and review financial reports, including general ledger accounts and accounts receivable and payable statements.
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Maintain familiarity with financial concepts, including GAAP, and perform tasks accordingly.
- Prepare financial reports and statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Provide budgeting support and assist with budget preparation.
- Perform double entry bookkeeping tasks, including journal entries and ledger balancing.
- Utilize 10 key typing skills to efficiently complete tasks.
- Provide general administrative support to the financial department.
Experience
- Previous experience as an administrative assistant or in a related role is preferred.
- Experience with accounting software, including Sage, is required.
- Familiarity with financial concepts, including GAAP, is essential.
- Experience with budgeting and financial report writing is highly desirable.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in accounting or a related field is preferred.
