ROCKWOOL is seeking a Business Development Manager - Residential Building, South-Central to join our Residential Building Team .

The preferred candidate will be based in Dallas or Austin and the territory covers TX, LA, AR, OK, CO, and NM . This position reports to the Key Account Manager, requires up to 50% travel, and has no direct reports.

Your Future Team

You’ll join a team of passionate Business Development Managers, responsible for increasing market share with residential architects and the home builder community.

As the critical link between ROCKWOOL and our customers, you will ensure they are presented with stone wool solutions that help to address their challenges and make a difference to people’s everyday lives.

Working in a company with a robust product portfolio, a strong market position, and high ethical standards, you will achieve customer excellence and contribute to our continued growth.

What You Will Be Doing

You’ll take a strategic approach to increasing market share of the ROCKWOOL brand through residential architects, building science professionals, social media influencers, and the home builder community .

You’ll assume full ownership and provide sales guidance to Regional Sales Managers and Territory Sales Managers , ensuring that agreed upon targets and actions are communicated and executed.

  • Identify key markets and trends to deliver clear strategies to regional team to grow business
  • Expand stakeholder engagement by developing direct relationships with builders, insulation contractors, and residential architects
  • Provide detailed market insight and analytics as required to effectively drive growth
  • Prioritize and drive sales results within specified market segments within assigned product lines
  • Collaborate with regional teams on key strategic plans and programs to increase market share
  • Meet with key stakeholders on a regular basis, understanding their business needs and delivering results to increase market share of ROCKWOOL products
  • Deliver value to key stakeholders with customer service, technical information and installation assistance
  • Conduct trainings, both in person and virtual, to increase knowledge
  • Provide management and executive managers with regular insights to effectively support and develop new business opportunities
  • Ability to travel up to 50%

What You Bring

  • 3 5 years’ experience in the building material / construction industry, a MUST
  • Strong background in sustainable solutions and residential energy efficient design
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (presentations ) and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and experience in social media marketing
  • Highly skilled proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the use of CRM software
  • Motivates and empowers others to take responsibility , challenge, and identify risks and progress ideas
  • Passionate and values driven and will embrace the company’s core values including integrity, honesty and trust
