As a Licensed Mental Health Counsellor at Zevo Health, you'll provide on-site and remote group sessions for a dedicated 20-25 hours per week with the opportunity to increase your hours subject to your availability by providing additional one-to-ones sessions via video on our Digital Platform.
You'll conduct sessions using interventions like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), and trauma-informed care, and follow safety procedures.
Your role includes evaluating risks, adhering to ethical guidelines, collaborating with the Clinical Programme Lead, and delivering group sessions to build resilience and coping skills.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver onsite and online group and peer support sessions aimed at enhancing resilience, developing healthy coping skills and fostering positive working relationships.
- When available, deliver one-to-one online counselling sessions, addressing a range of psychological and emotional issues.
- Implement short-term, solutions focused interventions such as CBT, ACT and DBT.
- Manage clinical risks effectively, ensuring the safety and well-being of all client employees.
- Assess cases for trauma related to exposure to graphic content and follow Zevo Health's escalation procedures.
- Evaluate and manage risks of harm to self or others, including minors, when necessary.
- Facilitate creative sessions such as arts and crafts, music sessions, mindful coloring.
- Review and familiarize yourself with training preparation materials in advance of onsite sessions.
- Timely management and completion of administrative duties, including tracking group session data and completion of individual case notes on the platform.
- Maintain professionalism at all times on client sites and adhere to site guidelines.
- Respond promptly to emails and messages from Clinical Team Leads and Operations, ensuring clear and timely communication to support collaborative efforts and client satisfaction.
- Attend monthly peer support sessions with Clinical Team Lead as you require.
- Keep up to date with the latest Trust & Safety information to maintain knowledge
- Adhere to professional and ethical guidelines set by discipline specific governing and licensing bodies.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Educational Requirements
- Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Hold a current, active license as a LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor), LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker or MFTC (Marriage and Family Therapist Candidate) in the state of employment.
- Additional clinical education related to short-term, solution-focused interventions.
- Certified in suicide risk assessment, such as SafeTALK or ASIST, ensuring the ability to effectively identify and manage clients at risk.
- Complete CPD training in alignment with governing body requirements.
Previous Work Experience
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in individual and group interventions. Experience in a corporate environment is an advantage.
- Previous experience working with a EAP or Digital Therapy platform would be an advantage.
- Proven ability in delivering compelling and engaging presentations to adult audiences.
- Experience in cross-cultural counselling, demonstrating sensitivity and competence with diverse client backgrounds.
- Proven ability to maintain professionalism and ethical standards in a corporate environment, including effective communication and confidentiality.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and various video conferencing technologies.
- Fluent in written and spoken English. Additional language skills are advantageous for broader client engagement.
- Strong data management skills, ensuring accurate and efficient handling of client information and session records.
- Ability to adapt and excel in a flexible, ambiguous, and rapidly changing environment within an emerging, fast-growing industry, showcasing resilience and agility.
- Excellent time management and clinical prioritization skills, effectively handling multiple tasks and responsibilities in a dynamic setting.
- Committed to continuous learning and professional development, staying updated with industry trends and enhancing skills.
