Description :

The facility is a 50-bed acute inpatient rehabilitation facility.

It offers specialized programs for patients who have experienced strokes, brain and spinal-cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic injuries.

The goal is to help patients achieve their highest level of recovery and return home as soon as possible.

The organization strives to maximize health, function, and quality of life through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs.

The facility is accredited by The Joint Commission and recognized for its specialty programs.

The unit typically has a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1 : 7.

Common diagnoses include hypertension, blood glucose monitoring, insulin protocols, feeding tube care, swallowing precautions, and joint replacements.

Nurses will provide care for various patient populations, including those recovering from strokes, spinal injuries, and brain injuries.

Additional responsibilities include the care of ports, PICC lines, starting IVs, and managing supplemental oxygen delivery.

The dress code includes scrubs of any color.

No unacceptable attire is permitted, and scrubs and sneakers are allowed.
