Job Description
This position is within the CFO organization and supports Consumer Dealer Services Business Line that provides consumers with a diversified line of products including auto loans, leases, lease buyouts and RV / marine loans.
Provides financial analyses related to budgets, forecasting, allocation of expenses, ad hoc analysis for business case development and custom financial analyses, peer group analysis and internal consulting for all levels of management.
Develops and directs the preparation of reports which assist in the analysis by senior management or other recipients of performance or position of the in-scope area.
Analyzes assigned financial reports, augmenting with further research as needed and provides recommendations to management based on findings.
Manages various financial reporting projects or studies. Provides leadership, guidance and training to finance / accounting staff.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
Six or more years of related experience in finance
Preferred Skills / Experience
Prior experience with capacity tools, unit cost analysis, Capex
Accounting background preferred
Banking experience strongly preferred
Previous direct management experience required
Advanced knowledge of financial analysis concepts and methodologies
Considerable knowledge of accounting theory practice, regulatory requirements and reporting
Well-developed financial analysis, forecasting and planning skills
