IT Project Manager (Manhattan ACTIVE Experience Required)

POSITION SUMMARY
The IT Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating people and processes to ensure that all projects are delivered on time and produce desired results.
This role will develop detailed project plans, ensure resource availability and allocation, and deliver every project on time and within budget and scope.
This position will be responsible for interfacing with various departments and analyzing business needs to recommend and implement changes to current systems or processes, that would benefit the organization.
CORE FUNCTIONS
- Project Management :
- Develop detailed project plans to track progress across all brands using the appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
- Coordinate internal and external resources for execution of projects.
- Work with department and interdepartmental functions to manage scope, cost, schedule, staffing vendors, and contractual deliverable.
- Monitor and report on project performance; this includes product development timelines such as tooling, manufacturing, or purchase of products according to timely release.
- Responsible for reporting and communicating metrics and KPIs as it relates to the project.
- Business Analyst :
- Collaborate with other departments to identify, document, and communicate business needs and provide IT solutions.
- Translate customer requirements into technical design with development team.
- Plan and facilitate end user documentation and testing.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
- 8+ years of experience in a Project Management role is required.
- Experience delivering large-scale, strategic projects.
- Experience implementing warehouse management systems is required, specifically Manhattan ACTIVE.
- Experience integrating ERP systems to warehouse management systems is required.
- Previous experience in development and maintaining work instructions and end-user manuals is required.
- Experience in the entire SDLC lifecycle is required.
- Experience in creating functional design documents is required.
Required Licenses
PMP Certification preferred.
Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge
- Skilled in Microsoft Office 365.
- Understanding of core systems such as ERP, WMS, and EDI.
- Communicate technical concepts and solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Effectively manage time and priorities, contributing to project planning, estimation, and successful delivery.
- Implement and advocate for effective testing strategies, ensuring software reliability through unit testing, integration testing, and other quality assurance measures.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and others.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Travel
Travel will be required. Up to 50%.
SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead : working team member who coordinates, supports, trains, and is a knowledge resource for other team members. No direct reports or supervisory responsibility.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position is subject to Sedentary Work : Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and / or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
Sedentary work involved sitting most of the time. Walking and standing are required only occasionally.

This position is subject to the following physical activities : talking, hearing, and typing.
Visual Acuity
- The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures;
- transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; expansive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts and / or operation of machines (including inspection);
using measurement devices; and / or assembly of fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.
Working Conditions
This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
