Description :
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will work collaboratively with the data and reporting team to enhance our data reliability and quality.
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will also be involved in architecture, design, build, and testing data warehouse and data solutions that enable data extraction, transformation, and reporting for predictive or prescriptive use cases.
You’ll work with a team and collaborate with colleagues in other departments to help our customers and the families we serve together.
Requirements :
- Data Architecture & modeling : Create and maintain data architecture and data models for efficient storage and retrieval of information.
- Data Collection and Storage : Responsible for ensuring that data is collected from various sources and stored in a centralized location such as a data warehouse.
- Data ETL : Design and implement data pipelines for ETL with tools like SSIS and Azure Data Factory.
- System Design : Participate in Agile team ceremonies to provide data system design and architecture guidance as needed
- System Maintenance : Monitor data performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise in the data pipeline.
- Project / task management : Work with development teams to identifies appropriate steps for individual tasks to track work and ensure timely completion.
- Quality Assurance : Ensure data quality and accuracy by implementing data validation and cleansing processes.
- Performance Optimization : Ensure that data queries and reports run efficiently.
- Data Security : Ensure that data is stored securely and access to sensitive data is restricted to authorized users.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Equivalent to high school graduation and a 4-year college / university degree in a job-related field such as computer science OR equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years professional experience.
- Strong SQL Server and relationship database experience.
- Experience with SSIS, SSRS.
- Net experience is a plus.
