Evendale Security Patrolman
The Evendale Security Patrolman will provide plant wide security services to enforce company and plant rules and regulations. In the role of Evendale Security Patrolman, you will have the responsibility for the protection of life and property, prevent illicit entry into the plant, illegal or unauthorized removal and theft of property, control of traffic, crowd control at special events and assist in emergencies.
Essential Responsibilities
- Control the flow of pedestrians at gates, inspect all persons for proper identification badges and inspect packages / parcels for contraband or illegal removal of company property
- Inspect vehicles entering or leaving through perimeter gates to ensure authorization in accordance with security requirements, that there is no evidence of weapons or substances intended to cause harm to the facility or population and audit vehicle contents as directed by the Supervisor.
- Patrol all buildings, parking lots, fence lines and grounds as directed by the Supervisor.
- Check for and report all infractions of the plant rules / regulations and report all violations surrounding the protection of classified information / materials in accordance with government regulations
- Maintain a thorough understanding of all security patrol instructions, post orders, information bulletins, security processes, company policies and verbal instructions in order to handle any situation with poise, tact and efficiency
Qualifications / Requirements
High School Diploma / GEDMinimum of 5 years of military or security related experience.Ability and willingness to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Security ClearanceDesired Characteristics
