Qualifications :
- Demonstrate empathy, collaborative skills, and a continuous learning attitude, effectively working with engineers at all levels to integrate security into the product lifecycle.
- Experienced in utilizing application testing tools such as SAST, DAST, and IAST, along with various penetration testing suites.
- Skilled in securing complex cloud environments and microservices architectures using technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS.
- Able to simplify complex security concepts into actionable steps and build consensus without direct authority.
- Maintain a proactive approach to embedding security throughout the product lifecycle, including threat modeling, secure code reviews, and educational initiatives.
- Bring comprehensive security knowledge, enabling connections across different domains to identify holistic approaches to reducing the overall threat surface.
- Strong understanding of offensive security tactics to anticipate risks from an adversary's perspective, beyond merely checking compliance boxes.
- Experienced with modern application stacks, infrastructures, and security tools to deploy practical defenses.
- Apply creative and strategic thinking to mitigate risks through secure design and simplicity, beyond just implementing controls.
- Passionate about core security principles such as least privilege, defense-in-depth, and reducing complexity.
- Knowledge in AI / ML is highly advantageous.
