As a Software Development Engineer (SDE) within the AWS EC2 Images team, you will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and optimization of software systems that power the management of virtual machine images in the cloud.
Our engineers work in everything from low-level code in C, to applications in Java and Scala, and automation in Ruby / Python / etc.
You will work closely with a team of highly skilled engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
