About The Position
- Job Title : Registered Nurse - Wound Ostomy Job Specialty : Wound Ostomy Care Job Duration : 12 Weeks Shift : Monday to Friday - 10-hour shifts Guaranteed Hours : After 48 hours Experience : 1+ years in Wound Ostomy, including travel experience License : Active Nursing License with NURSYS Verification Certifications : Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (CWOCN) Must-Have : - Flu Vaccine for the 2024-2025 flu season - Graduation from an accredited Wound Ostomy Continence nursing education program Job Description : - Work with the Wound Ostomy team.
- Required to float between multiple campuses. - Perform wound vac dressings, placements, and debridement. - Conduct ostomy care, including pouch changes and patient education.
- Provide specialty bed recommendations for weight distribution. - Knowledge of wound vac systems and techniques is essential.
- Scrub color can be any choice. Please ensure that the candidate can meet all the specified must-have requirements, particularly the flu vaccine, as no exemptions are allowed.
