Discover your full potential join us to advance your career while leaving a lasting legacy. Summary : Tetra Tech is looking for an experienced, proactive project assistant to work collaboratively with our team on a specific long-term project in East Brunswick, NJ.

In this role, you will oversee tasks delegated to you by the project manager, coordinate with all necessary vendors and service providers, and serve as a point of contact for our clients.

You will need to be highly organized, adaptable, and able to prioritize tasks while working independently. The ability to motivate others and keep them organized in a positive and encouraging manner is also a must-have skill in this position.

Your Role : oWork collaboratively with the project manager and team to maximize productivity. oCollaborate with the whole project team, contributing to the entire project lifecycle.

oUtilize data / information to appropriately complete, prepare, assemble, process, and / or generate reports in a timely manner and in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, and guidelines.

oEnter data electronically in an efficient manner and in the prescribed format. oCommunicate promptly with team regarding inconsistent or erroneous data.

oPrepare, assemble, process, and / or generate professional business documents. oAssemble data / information to appropriately respond to inquiries, questions, or requests.

oProactively communicate accurate information to clients in a courteous, prompt, and helpful manner oDemonstrate commitment to clients' needs.

oMaintain confidentiality and security of information and materials. oEnsure all daily paperwork is completed and properly filed, both paper and electronic copies oCommunicate with laboratory for ordering sampling containers and shipping samples.

oOrder field equipment, tools and parts oEquipment maintenance orders and shipment (packing and delivering to shipping facility) oCommunicate and coordinate truck maintenance including, repairs, inspections, and drive trucks to and from the maintenance shop.

o Order field office supplies, including ordering for delivery or direct purchase and pickups. oPick up deliveries from the clients main building.

oPerform monthly audit of office trailer, including fleet first aid kits and fire extinguishers. oArrange annual professional service for fire extinguishers.

oCommunicate with our client’s administrative team regarding Purchase Orders, PCARD receipts (NAES’ pcard), etc.oComplete safety training as assigned, and wear personal protective equipment as assigned or required.

oOther duties as assigned. Qualifications : oAssociate or bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred oMinimum of 2 years' relevant work experience in project or construction administrative assistant field support oMust be proficient in the use of the PC, specifically with the Microsoft Office suite of products (Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and other processing programs.

oMust have reporting experience, administrative writing skills, process management experience, organization skills, time management, information analysis, professionalism, and problem solving.

oExceptional communication and interpersonal skills oKeen attention to detail and an aptitude for problem-solving oCollaborative working style and team-player attitude oPositive and encouraging personality.

oAble to work independently with little supervision. oHighly motivated with a strong work ethic oReliable, trustworthy, and committed to the team's success oOutstanding organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.

oAble to thrive in a high-volume, deadline-driven work environment. Physical Demands :
