Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift
Louisville, KY
Leading food manufacturing company seeks a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to manage a team of 25-30 employees. This role is crucial in overseeing production lines, troubleshooting issues, and achieving safety and production goals.
Schedule :
4 days / week, 2nd shift
2 : 30 PM or 4 : 30 PM start
Requirements :
- Manufacturing experience required; food manufacturing preferred
- 3+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
- Associate degree preferred but not required
- Strong problem-solving and team management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to noise and moving machinery
Responsibilities :
- Oversee production lines and resolve operational issues
- Develop and manage production team
- Enforce safety and GMP policies
- Plan production operations and review schedules
- Conduct inventory functions and equipment inspections
- Participate in production meetings and continuous improvement initiatives
Compensation :
- Competitive salary based on experience, starting around $70-$75,000 / yr
