RequirementsWeb Manager, Office of the President Georgetown UniversityJob OverviewThe Web Manager collaborates with team members to convey the voice and vision of the president in a range of communications, including online audiences.

They provide specific expertise for the amplification and breadth for priorities and values expressed through the President’s Office in duties that include but are not limited to : Collaborates with team members and University-wide colleagues in overall planning, implementation, and dissemination of Presidential communications in particular, web content through various channels associated with the President’s OfficeDevelops and aligns website strategies and content with the broader approaches employed in the President’s Office and with the broader UniversityCollaborates with project leaders to build, maintain, and update websites related to presidential initiatives and activities, and works with colleagues within and beyond the President’s Office.

Works cooperatively with other communications professionals to integrate videos, images, and graphic elements into webpagesWrites, edits, and publishes contentPerforms layout, organization, navigation, and overall website architectureManages and curates an archive of videos, photos, graphics, and other content associated with presidential communicationsWork InteractionsThe Web Manager reports to the Director of Presidential Communications and Community Engagement.

QualificationsBachelor’s degree3 to 5 years of relevant professional experienceAn understanding of content strategy, accessibility guidelines, current best practices, and web content management systemsStrong project management skillsA keen attention to detailStrong writing skillsPreferred qualificationsInterest in higher education, communications trends, and best practicesExperience in WordPressWork Mode : Hybrid.

Pay Range : The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is : $47,586.

00 - $87,558.13Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University’s business needs and external factors.
